We are delighted to offer TOG Knives’ premium sharpening and repair service in partnership with Japanese Knife Company. Using traditional Japanese whetstones, each knife is carefully sharpened by hand to achieve exceptional results whilst removing only the minimum amount of steel necessary in each case.

This meticulous process avoids excessive heat build-up, helping to preserve the integrity and performance of the blade steel. Every knife is then refined on a fine finishing stone and polished on a leather strop, resulting in a precise, razor-sharp edge and an exceptional finish.

For customers in London who are able to drop knives off in person, TOG Knives offers a dedicated London drop-off service in partnership with Japanese Knife Company. Each knife is carefully sharpened by hand using traditional Japanese whetstones to achieve exceptional results whilst preserving the integrity and performance of the blade.

Knives may either be collected in person or carefully returned by post, with most sharpening services completed within a prompt turnaround time.

You will need to very securely pack your knives (ideally in the original box and tied very tight with the ribbon) and post them to the following address:
